Hermes Ramírez

Hermes Julián Ramírez Limonta ( born January 7, 1948 in Guantánamo ) is a retired Cuban sprinter.

At the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1967 he won the bronze medal over 100 m and with the Cuban team silver in the 4 x 100 - meter relay.

The following year he reached at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City about 100 m the semi-finals. In the 4 x 100 - meter relay, the Cuban quartet in the cast Ramírez, Juan Morales, Pablo Montes, and Enrique Figuerola won the silver medal with 0.1 seconds down on the U.S. relay race, with 38.2 s a world record aufstellte.
