1967 Pan American Games
The Fifth Pan-American Games were held in the Canadian city of Winnipeg from July 23 to August 6, 1967. The city had been awarded the contract during the meeting of PASO at the edge of the Games of 1963, after a first failed candidacy for the games in 1959.
Central competition venue was the Canad Inns Stadium.
During the Pan American Games competitions have been held in 18 sports. Successful nation were the United States with a total of 244 medals.
