1963 Pan American Games

The IV Pan American Games were held in the Brazilian city of São Paulo from April 20 to May 5, 1963.

At the Games 1,665 athletes participated from 22 countries. Central competition venue was the Estádio do Pacaembu.

During the Pan American Games competitions have been held in 19 sports. Successful nation were the United States with a total of 199 medals.
