Hervé Tum

Hervé Germain Tum (born 15 February 1979 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian footballer who is currently with the Turkish first division club Göztepe Izmir under contract.

Playing career

Association

Tum is Rechtsfüßler, 1.83 m tall and plays at the position of the striker. He moved in 2008 on a free transfer to Racing Strasbourg Sivasspor. Here he quickly established himself as a regular player and scored ten goals in 31 Ligabegnungen.

In summer 2009, Sivasspor took from Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor the player Erman Kılıç and was next to a transfer fee his two player Hervé Tum and Kanfory Sylla at Istanbul BB. At his new place of Tum played predominantly as a regular player.

After he moved to Istanbul BB 2011/12 season free transfer to Gençlerbirliği Ankara, where he won a starting berth after initial teething problems. Later, he was best scorer with 15 goals in his club and second in the top scorers Süper Ligsaison 2011/12. For the summer of 2012 his one-year contract ran out with Gençlerbirliği. After he was not in agreement with Gençlerbirliği due to different salary, he explained his departure from the Brussels residents.

He then agreed to a little later with the newly promoted Elazığspor. The main reason for this change of coach Bülent Uygun had already worked with the Tum at Sivasspor together. After Uygun resigned during the first round of his office and his successor Yılmaz Vural began only occasionally, Tum Elazığspor left for winter break.

Towards the end of the winter transfer window 2012/13 moved to second division Tum Göztepe Izmir.

Tum accrued six times for the Cameroonian national football team.
