Mode

The championship was divided into two rounds. The preliminary round was played in the fall with 12 teams. In the final round played in the spring, the 8 best teams in the preliminary round against each other. For the final round of the points already made, were halved. The last four teams played in the Auf-/Abstiegsrunde with the four best teams in the National League B in order to remain in the National League A.

  • FC Aarau, the SR Delémont and FC Lucerne remained due to the forced expulsions in the National League A.

  • The FC Winterthur remained in the National League B.

Scorer was Richard Nuñez from Grasshopper Club Zurich with 28 goals before Christian Giménez (FC Basel) with 27 goals.
