1919–20 Swiss Serie A

With Servette Geneva, Yong Boys Bern and the Grasshoppers were three of the most successful Swiss teams in the finals against each other. Here, the Grasshopper Club Zurich was since his last league title 15 years ago (1905 ) disappeared from the scene and has not even participated in the championship for many years.

The Young Boys Bern to secure the league title after a victory over Servette Geneva and a draw against the Grasshoppers for itself succeeded. They won the title as the first team for the fifth time and could thus call record champions.

Mode

The top division, Serie A was divided into three regional groups. A victory earned 2 points, a draw 1 point a. The winners of the three groups met in finals for the championship against each other.
