Hideki Okada (racing driver)

Hideki Okada (Japanese冈田 秀 树, Hideki Okada; born November 28, 1958 in Okayama ) is a former Japanese racing driver.

Career in motorsports

His greatest success of Hideki Okada in sports car racing. In 1988, he secured together with Stanley Dickens the Appreciation of the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship. In 1987 he was runner-up in the Japanese Touring Car Championship and finished this race series in 1993 as third overall. Overall, the Japanese celebrated seven overall victories in sports car races, including 15 times on the podium of the first three. At the 24 - hour race in Le Mans he was six times at the start. His best finish was ninth overall in 1988.

In single-seater was his most successful season in 1986 when he finished fifth in the Japanese Formula 3 Championship.
