Hijani Himoonde

Hijani Himoonde ( born August 1, 1987 in Lusaka ) is a Zambian football player.

Career

Himoonde played in his youth at Chimparamba and Lusaka Edusport and won in that time, among other multiple medals at the Gothia Cup. In 2006 he came to the first division Lusaka Dynamos, where he was employed at the age of 18 years regularly.

In November 2006 Himonde Himoonde was first appointed to the Zambian national team. He made his debut in the first round game of the CECAFA Cup against Burundi. In January 2007, he was nominated in the U -20 Zambia for the junior football African Cup of Nations 2007. After starting as a regular in the tournament, he lost his place in the team after the first game against Nigeria, in which he showed a weak performance. He came for the rest of the tournament no longer used and was not nominated for the Junior World Cup in 2007.

In July 2007 he took the U- 23 at the Pan-African Games and arrived with the team in fourth place. End of December 2007, he was nominated by coach Patrick Phiri for the African Nations Cup in Ghana in 2008.
