Hikaru no Go

Hikaru no Go (Japaneseヒカルの碁) is a completed manga series by Yumi Hotta the author and illustrator Takeshi Obata. The plant is about 4000 years old Chinese (and later also represented in Japan) game of Go and young Go players.

Action

Anime

Based on the manga series, an anime television series with 75 episodes at Studio Pierrot emerged. It was directed by Susumu Nishizawa, Hideyuki Motohashi designed the character design and artistic director was Sawako Takagi. The series was broadcast on 10 October 2001 to 26 March 2003, the Japanese broadcaster TV Tokyo.
