Hipólito Rincón

Hipólito " Poli " Rincón Povedano ( born April 28, 1957 in Madrid ) is a former Spanish footballer.

Career

Association

Rincón began his career in 1976 in the second team of Real Madrid and moved by various lending in 1979 in the first team on. At the Royal, however, the young talent over the following two seasons for only 16 missions. 1981 Rincon therefore left the capital and signed a contract with Real Betis. In Andalusia was the Spanish regulars and thanked for the confidence with gates. In the 1982/83 season he was top scorer with 20 goals. In addition, he participated with his team twice in the UEFA Cup. Towards the end of the 1980s ended Betis Sevilla the seasons, however, mostly in the lower half of the table. When the club in the season 1988/89 ultimately descended, Rincon ended his career.

National

Rincon played 22 internationals for the Spanish national football team and took part in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. Four of his ten goals in the national jersey he scored in a qualifying match for Euro 1984 against Malta.
