Hiram Percy Maxim

Hiram Percy Maxim ( born September 2, 1869 in Brooklyn, New York, † February 17, 1936 in La Junta, Colorado ) was an American inventor.

The son of Hiram Maxim, the inventor of the machine gun was known as the inventor of the silencer and the founder of amateur radio organization American Radio Relay League.

Hiram Percy Maxim was married to the daughter of the politician William Thomas Hamilton and had two children. He was buried in Hagerstown (Maryland).
