Hirschberg (Lower Bavaria)

The Hirschberg ( 1039 m ) is a mountain in the Bavarian Forest east of the town of Zwiesel in the Bavarian Forest Nature Park near the border with the Czech Republic. It is completely wooded, the rainfall on its south- eastern slopes and feed the drinking water reservoir Frauenau.

Nearest settlement is the village of Buchenau the community Lindberg. Next neighboring mountains southwest of Little Rachel ( 1399 m) and the Great Rachel ( 1453 m), north of the gravel jerk ( 1261 m).
