Hitachi Consulting

The Hitachi Consulting Corporation ( HCC ) is a global management and technology consulting firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It was founded in 2000 as a subsidiary of the Japanese electronics giant Hitachi and busy in their offices in the USA, Japan, the UK, Spain, Portugal and Germany with over 2,000 employees.

History

Since the company was founded through the acquisition of the consulting division of Grant Thornton in November 2000, Hitachi Consulting has grown both organically and inorganically grown. Among the acquisitions of BDO Seidman WaveBend Solutions (June 2001), Tactica Technology (November 2001), Aspirity (April 2004), Dove Consulting ( August 2005), Impact Plus by Hitachi Consulting UK (April 2007), Iteration2 include (June 2007) JMN and Associates ( March 2008). After the dissolution of Arthur Andersen, also joined in June 2002, 23 partners and 370 consultants from Andersen Business Consulting with the company.

The American subsidiaries operate only since May 2003 under the name of Hitachi Consulting. The Japanese company Hitachi Exsurge was renamed accordingly in April 2006.

Hitachi Consulting Europe ( HCE ) was established in March 2006 through offices in the UK, Spain and Portugal. In January 2007, the German branch of Hitachi Consulting Germany ( HCG) followed in Dreieich near Frankfurt am Main. In addition, since November 2005, there is a Global Solution Center in India.
