The Enterprise was a frigate of the British Royal Navy. She was the first ship bearing the name Enterprise. The sailing ship from 1705 to 1707 located in service was with 24 cannons at that rank classification of warships as a ship of the sixth and lowest rank. Until its Capture by the British in May 1705 Tryton was under the name L' Entreprise in the service of the French Navy and had his application probably in the Mediterranean.

Under the command of J. Paul the ship in the shipyards of Livorno in Italy was transferred. Two years later, on May 19, 1707 the Enterprise left under the command of W. Davenport, the yard of Livorno. On October 12, 1707 it went under with Thornton.
