Hobscheid

Hobscheid ( Luxembourgish Habscht ) is a municipality in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in the canton chapels.

History

The community traces its historical origins date back to the Countess Ermesinde. Since the early Middle Ages Hobscheid belonged to the parish Elwingen, while belonged to the parish Eischen Arlon. Through the French Revolution Hobscheid came to Arlon.
