Hocheisspitze

The Hocheisspitze is a 2523 m high mountain in the Berchtesgaden Alps, over the runs the border between Germany and Austria. She is also the highest mountain of the same name Hocheisgruppe that belongs to hochkalter massif.

Was climbed for the first time demonstrated the Hocheisspitze by Hermann von Barth on 6 September 1868, however, there are suspicions of the mountain had already been climbed before.

The unmarked normal route via the Hocheiskar from the west to the summit. Also, over the ridge between Kammerling Horn ( 2483 m) and the summit Hocheisspitze can be achieved. This climbing difficulties of II- III are to deal with. In winter ski tours are taken to the mountain by climbers.
