Hohenbol

The Hohenbol is a 602.1 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the city of Owen in the district of Esslingen in Baden- Württemberg.
The Hohenbol is a foothill of the Teckberges ( the north of Albtrauf in the foothills of the Swabian Alb is located ) and this precedes the northwest.
In the Hohenbol is a witness mountain of volcanic origin.
Geology
It originated during the Tertiary, when a paved the volcanic vents of the volcano Swabian way through the surrounding rock ( Black and White Jura). The Hohenbol was (especially in the west and north) exposed by erosion of the softer surrounding material.
Others
Through a distinctive group of black pines at its summit, which stands out from other low vegetation, the Hohenbol is clearly visible.
The area of the Hohenbol is part of the nature reserve Teck.
