Holčovice

Holčovice ( German Hiller village ) is a municipality belonging to Okres Bruntál in the eastern Czech Moravian-Silesian Region with 747 inhabitants and an area of 40 km ².

Geography

Holčovice is laid out as a street village in the valley of the Goldoppa at an altitude of about 600 m asl

History

For the first time Hiller village was mentioned in 1377. In the second half of the 15th century was destroyed and the village was re-established in 1550. The certificate of incorporation was issued by Albrecht von fill block on Geppersdorf and Gotsch village anno 1558 on Wednesday after All Saints. The municipality consists of the villages Holčovice Dlouhá Ves ( Langendorf ), Hejnov ( Heinsdorf ) Holčovice ( Hiller village), Jelení ( Hirschberg ), Komora (chamber) and Spálené ( Kuttelberg ). The district Holčovice divided into the local locations Dolni Holčovice (low Hiller village) and Horni Holčovice (Upper Hiller village).
