Homiel Raion

The Rajon Homel ( Belarusian Гомельскі раён; Russian Гомельский район ) is an administrative unit in the Homelskaja Woblasz in Belarus with the administrative center in the city of Gomel. The Rajon has an area of ​​2,000 km ² and comprises 186 villages.

Geography

The Rajon Homel is situated in the south-east of Belarus. The Nachbarrajone are in the east Buda Kaschaljowa, northeast Vetka, in the east Dobrusch, southwest and west Lojeu Retschyza.
