Hope Springs (2003 film)

Hope Springs - The love of your life is a comedy film from 2003, starring Colin Firth, Heather Graham and Minnie Driver. It is based on the novel " New Cardiff " by Charles Webb from the year 2001.

Action

The British painter Colin Ware is engaged to Vera Jones, but she leaves him. He travels to Hope Springs, Vermont, United States. There he learns the girlfriend of the leader of his hotel, Mandy know. Colin and Mandy fall in love.

Vera appears in Hope Springs, she wants to win back Colin. He chooses but for Mandy.

Reviews

Mark Adams wrote in the Hollywood Reporter, the film would be light entertainment, but not a film to which you would remember. He praised the " attractive " and " talented " actor, the script and the director.

Neil Smith wrote on May 7, 2003 to www.bbc.co.uk, some amusing scenes would compensate for the weaknesses of the script logic. He praised Mary Steenburgen and Oliver Platt.
