Mark Herman
Mark Herman (born 1954 in Bridlington, Yorkshire ) is a British film director.
After studying graphic design in Leeds graduated from 1983 to 1986 to study film in London. In 1992 he made his feature film debut with the film Blame it on the bell boy. His two internationally known films are the socially critical miners comedy Brassed Off - With drums and trumpets and the adaptation of the successful musicals Little Voice.
Herman writes for all his films the scripts themselves He also published volumes of poetry in England and made as a songwriter attention to itself.
