Tara Fitzgerald

Tara Anne Cassandra Fitzgerald ( born September 18, 1967 in Cuckfield, Sussex, England) is a British actress.

Tara's mother, Sarah Fitzgerald, was of Irish descent, her father Michael Callaby Italians. The family moved to the Bahamas and then in 1970 to London. A year later, Tara's parents separated. Committed suicide in 1978 the father.

Fitzgerald studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, she held various jobs in Europe and continued to study at the Drama Centre London. There she met, inter alia, Method Acting. As an actress she made her debut in the 1990/91 turned film Hear My Song - A dream come true, in which they participated alongside Ned Beatty. In the film, The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain (1995 ) she starred opposite Hugh Grant in the film Brassed Off - Sound and Fury (1996 ) alongside Pete Postlethwaite and Ewan McGregor. She was also seen in several stage plays such as Hamlet (1995, opposite Ralph Fiennes ) and A Streetcar Named Desire at the Bristol Old Vic ( 2000).

Fitzgerald was married from 2001 to 2003 with the actor John Sharian.
