Horní Libchava

Horni Libchava ( German Oberliebich ) is a municipality of Okres Ceska Lipa in the Liberec Region in the north of the Czech Republic on the eastern slope of the Bohemian Uplands. It lies in the valley of the brook Libchava, about 5 kilometers northwest of Ceska Lipa ( Czech Lipa ).

In the village there is the Baroque Church of St. James the Great in 1736 and a Renaissance castle from the 16th century. On the nearby Vinný vrch ( Kirchberg) was formerly the castle Klinštejn ( Klingenstein ). From the mid 19th century the village belonged to the district court or to the district Bohemian Bohemian Lipa Lipa.
