Hoseason Island

Hoseason Iceland is a sub-Antarctic island, about 9 km long and 4.5 km wide. It is about 20 km north- north-east of Liège Iceland and 30 km west of Trinity Iceland located. It is located in the north of the Palmer Archipelago. By belonging to the southern group of the South Shetland Islands Low Iceland it is separated by the Bransfield Strait. It was named after James Hoseason, a British navigator who sailed the surrounding waters 1824-1825.
