Hostomice (Beroun District)
Hostomice ( German Hostomitz ) is a town with 1,570 inhabitants ( 31 December 2007) in the Czech Republic. It is situated in 361 m asl in a wide valley between Pribram and Beroun on Brdywald.
History
The earliest mention of the town dates from May 1343 as the inhabitants privileges were granted. Later, the place of Charles IV was handed over to the lords of Karlstejn and received at the same time the title of " by the king sheltered town ". 1738 Hostomice was Charles VI. appointed to the city.
Boroughs
The city Hostomice consists of the districts Bezdědice ( Besdieditz ) Hostomice ( Hostomitz ) Lštěň ( Elschtein ) and Radouš ( Radausch ). Hostomice divided into Katastralbezirke Bezdědice u Hostomic, Hostomice pod Brdy and Radouš . Basic settlement units are Bezdědice, Hostomice, Lštěň, Radouš and Zátor.
