Hubert Loutsch

Hubert Loutsch ( born November 6, 1878 in Monnerich, † October 24th 1946 in Brussels) was a Luxembourgian politician.

Hubert Loutsch was a lawyer. On November 6, 1915 he was Minister of State and President of the Government and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg. The government Loutsch consisted solely of members of the right-wing party. In the Luxembourg Parliament, the Chamber, the politicians of the Left were in the majority. Subsequently, the Grand Duchess Maria- Adelheid left the Chamber at December 23, 1915 to resolve without further ado. But even in the new Chamber the right party won a majority. On January 11, 1916, the Loutsch government lost a vote of confidence and resigned. He was succeeded on February 24, 1916 Victor Thorn.

From 1920 to 1934 Hubert Loutsch was president of the insurance company " La Luxembourgeoise ". From 1925 to 1934 Loutsch was as representative of the " National Union indépendante " member of the Chamber.
