Hugh Wilson (director)

Hugh Wilson ( born August 21, 1943 in Miami, Florida, USA) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter.

He has become as a producer and screenwriter for the TV series Frank 's Place and WKRP in Cincinnati known in the United States. After the end of this series, he has worked as a director, his debut as a film director, he was in 1984 with the first part of the Police Academy film series.

1988 Wilson was awarded an Emmy for his TV series Frank 's Place.

In many of his films, he has brief appearances.
