Hugo Miguel Pereira de Almeida, known as Hugo Almeida (born 23 MAY 1984 in Figueira da Foz, Portugal ) is a Portuguese football player who is under contract with the Turkish first division club Beşiktaş Istanbul since 2011.
Hugo Almeida began his career in the youth of Naval 1 º de Maio. After a season for the first team in the second league, he moved in 2003 to the first division club FC Porto, where he was able to prevail, however, and never really has been earned by União Leiria and Boavista. For the 2006/07 season Almeida joined initially on loan for a season to Werder Bremen. The rental was about one million euros. In addition, an option to purchase (approx.
