Humanoid (Album)

Humanoid is the title of the third German-speaking and the second English-language studio album of the band Tokio Hotel. Both versions were released on 2 October 2009. The songs were mostly written by Dave Roth, Patrick Benzner, David Jost, Bill Kaulitz and Tom Kaulitz.

History

After Tokio Hotel in 2007 published their album Zimmer 483 and their first English album Scream/Room483, the band was on tour in 2008 mainly. The release date of the new album was scheduled for March 2009, as the band was monitored during this period by a group of fans, the production had to be postponed. The album was again produced by David Roth, Patrick Benzner, David Jost, Peter Hoffmann and Tom and Bill Kaulitz.

Humanoid was sold about a million copies worldwide. The album spent 17 weeks in the German charts and was made after a week from first place to 25th place from. It held five weeks in Austria ( eighth place ) and seven weeks in Switzerland ( 10th place ) in the hit parade. In the U.S., the album was three weeks in the charts represent ( number 35 ).

Singles

The first single of the album the song was released automatically 18 September 2009. After the single had climbed to fifth place, she fell in the second week at No. 29 back and after nine weeks out of the charts. In Austria the piece reached number 14 and stayed seven weeks, in Switzerland demonstrated the single number 44 and stayed there for six weeks. The second single was on 29 March 2010 Let's run as a download published. It was the first single of the band, which did not reach the charts.
