Humboldt is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in Humboldt County in the central northern part of the U.S. state of Iowa. In 2010, Humboldt had 4690 inhabitants.

Geography

Humboldt is on the western Des Moines River. About four kilometers south of the city flows of these together with the eastern arm (Eastern Fork Des Moines River).
