Hurricane Gracie

An area with gewittrigem weather was first detected on September 18, several hundred kilometers east of the Windward Islands. The convective area organized in the vicinity of Hispaniola on 20 September in a tropical depression. After it was one day pulled into west-northwest direction, it turned to the northeast, where the winds aloft were very favorable weak for the further development and control currents. On September 22, the low pressure area was named Gracie, even before it had intensified into a tropical storm, a few hours later reached Gracie Hurrikansrärke. Gracie waved on September 25, eastward, and two days later in a westerly to west- north-west, than north formed a stable anticyclone.
