Hushang Ebtehaj

Hushang Ebtehaj, (Persian هوشنگ ابتهاج, DMG Hūšang Ibtihāǧ ) (* February 25, 1928 / 29 Esfand 1306 in Rasht ), known under the pseudonym "Hey Alef Saye " ( "HI shadow " ), (Persian ه. ا. سايه ), is an Iranian poet of the modernist school.

Life

After primary school Hushang Ebtehaj moved to Tehran. His first book of poetry, with an introduction by the poet Mehdi Hamidi Shirazi, he published at the age of 19 years. In the period after the Second World War HE was active in various literary circles and published in literary journals such as Sokhan, Kavian, Sadaf, Maslehat. To earn his living, he worked for 22 years in the state cement company. His literary activity, he ran on the side. Later, the Iranian radio invited him to one to produce the programs " Golha -ye Taze " and " Golčīn -like" that dealt with traditional Iranian music. According to the Islamic Revolution of 1979, he spent a result of his writings a year in jail. According to his release, he wrote the work, Hafez, in the attempt of the "shadow " in which he dealt with the work of Iranian poet Hafez. since 1987, he lives with his family in Cologne.

For the recitation of his poems Ebtehaj is often performed together with the Iranian musician Mohammad Reza Lotfi.
