I Am Here!

The Story of Us (Japaneseココ に いる よ!, Koko ni Iru yo!, Dt "I'm here !") Is a closed Japanese shōjo manga series of the genus. It was drawn by the Japanese mangaka Ema Toyama and includes over 900 pages.

The series is about the student Hikage Sumino, who attended the 8th grade, later the 9th grade, middle school. She is very shy and introverted, and describes itself as " präsenzlos ", so it is not respected by their classmates and also has no friends. Your only social contacts are their network acquaintances "Mega Pig" and " Kuro Usagi " (Eng. "Black Rabbit" ) on their own blog where they called Himawari. But Suminos lonely world is suddenly shattered when Hinata Muto, the most popular kid at school confesses his love.

As the story progresses overcomes Sumino, despite hostility from many Hinatas admirers and intrigue her jealous classmate, Aya Fujinaga more and more her shyness and is more involved in the class.

The series was published from issue 7/2007 (3 June 2007) to 1 /2009 ( 1 December 2008) in the Japanese manga magazine Nakayoshi. It was summarized in five Tankōbons. In Germany these five Tankōbons appeared translated by Claudia Peter in Egmont Ehapa from November 2009 to September 2010. An English translation was published by Kodansha USA and DelRey.
