Iain Pears

Iain Pears ( born in 1955 in Coventry, West Midlands ) is an English art historian and writer.

Life

The school graduated Pears at Warwick School, Warwick. Subsequently, he studied art history and literature, among others, at Wadham College and Wolfson College, Oxford University.

Upon successful completion of this study was Pears journalist with the BBC, the Channel 4 and ZDF. Between 1982 and 1990 he worked as a correspondent for the Reuters news agency in France, Italy, the United States and Great Britain. 1987 appointed the Yale University Pears for Getty Fellow.

In addition to his journalistic work with time was a literary oeuvre, which has been repeatedly praised by the audience as well as from the official literary criticism.
