Ice hockey at the 1986 Asian Winter Games

The Hockey competition of the First Asian Winter Games was held from March 8, 1986 in Sapporo, Japan from 1. Besides the host nation Japan took three more countries - the People's Republic of China, South Korea and North Korea - the competition. The gold medal secured the People's Republic of China, which won the tournament without defeat with only a draw against Japan.

Each of the four teams played twice against every other team. The team with the most points won the gold medal.
