Igor Jovanović

Igor Jovanović ( May 3, 1989 in Zagreb) is a Croatian football player who also has a German passport. He plays the position of right-back or in central defense.

Career

Jovanović was born in Zagreb and raised in Munich. He played in his youth for TSV 1860 Munich, then a year at SpVgg Unterhaching and then a year in the A- Youth League for Wacker Burghausen.

Jovanović signed in Burghausen a professional contract for the 2nd Bundesliga. However, Burghausen dismounted from the 2nd Bundesliga, and he played one year in the Regionalliga Süd. For the season 2008/ 09 changed Jovanović 1 FC Kleve in the Regionalliga West, which after the introduction of the 3rd Liga was only the fourth highest German league.

In summer 2009, Jovanović went to the Finnish first division club Turun Palloseura and completed by the end of season five league games. The following season, 2010 Jovanović came to 25 league inserts and finished at the end of the season with the third place in the table Turku. For this he won the Finnish Cup with the team. He also completed to qualify for the UEFA Europa League 2010/ 11, three international assignments.

After the end of the Finnish game year in the German winter break Jovanović joined in January 2011 in the 3rd League for SV Babelsberg 03 He received a contract until the end of the season. After 18 games to end the season for the film City Club of Croatian changed on 8 June 2011 for the FC Rot -Weiß Erfurt. There he signed a two year contract. On the first match day of the 2011/12 season he was used, then he fell out because of a persistent knee irritation. For the second round he was transferred to the second team and was there again after two games out. In early January 2013 were then dissolved his contract prematurely by mutual agreement.
