Imatu is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Iisaku ( Iisaku vald ). It is located in Ida -Viru county (East Wierland ) in northeastern Estonia.

The largely unspoiled Imatu Lake ( Imatu järv ) in the bog of Ristikivi ( Ristikivi soo ) is a popular destination for anglers. It is a little more than 28 acres in size. Its greatest depth is two meters.
