The Indian Ocean Drive is a road in the southwest coast of the Australian state of Western Australia. It combines the Lancelin Lancelin Road at the Brand Highway south of Dongara. Since the completion (see below ) carries the entire road the state road number 60 ( S60).

History

On September 26, 2010, the last, 65 km long section of the northern suburbs of Lancelin to the old Pinnacles Desert Drive, about 10 km south of Cervantes, opened. This stretch cost AU $ 95 million

The new road provides travelers from Perth to Geraldton an additional 30 minutes shorter and more promising journey than the extending inland Brand Highway. This will continue to serve the heavy traffic.

Course

The Indian Ocean Drive branches off about 6 km southwest of Lancelin Lancelin Road from the north. In approximately 5 km distance from the coast of the Indian Ocean, he leads north to the Wedge Iceland, about 20 km north of Lancelin.
