Inguilpata District

Inguilpata is one of the 23 Peruvian districts, which form the province of Luya in the region of the Amazon.

Inguilpata is located in the high Andes of north Peru.

In the north, the district borders the district Inguilpata Lonya Chico ( Luya ), to the east by the district Chachapoyas (Peru ), to the south by the district and the district Colcamar Ocumal ( Luya ) and to the west by the district Ocallí.

The village festival in Inguilpata will take place on August 30.

The majority of the houses located in the high mountains, a few also on the banks of the river Utcubamba.
