Inspector Morse, Homicide Oxford (even Inspector Morse, original title: Inspector Morse) is a British crime series of the TV Independent Television.

  • DI, DCI later Endeavour Morse ( John Thaw ), a police officer from Oxford, who has an incredible sense in elucidating crimes. He is a fan of Scotch, Wagner and The Archers and feel like spelling and grammar errors. In his cases supported him his assistant Lewis.

Spin-off and prequel

From 2007 to 2013 was with Lewis, a spin -off series produced, which focuses on the adventures of the now Detective Inspector transported to Robert Lewis, who is now itself serves as a mentor for a young and relatively inexperienced policeman.

Since 2012, running on the ITV prequel Endeavour series. It tells of the young Detective Constable Endeavour Morse ( Shaun Evans ). John Thaw's daughter Abigail plays in the role of Dorothea Frazil.
