Interros

Interros (Russian Интеррос ) is a Russian holding company with headquarters in Moscow. Company president is Vladimir Potanin Olegovich ( until the beginning of 2008, together with Mikhail Prokhorov ). General Director of Interros is currently Sergei Barbaschew.

Interros has been working as an investment company and was founded in 1990. Interros holding in Russia investments in companies in the mining and energy sector, and trade, media and real estate. The value of Interros amounted in 2006 to 9.4 billion U.S. dollars.

In October 2006, the channel Rambler TV was sold to the media holding Prof-Media, which in turn is part of the Interros Group.

Prof-Media has the following stations: 2x2, TV3 (Russia) and MTV (Russia).
