Iranian Super Cup
The Iranian Football Supercup was an Iranian football competition in the meet at the beginning of a season of Iranian and Iranian masters cup winners last season in a single game. If after regulation time are fixed no winner, there is no extra time and a penalty shootout decides.
The competition was the first and only time in 2005. The next edition was scheduled for August 10, 2007 between the champions Saipa Tehran and the Cup Winners Sepahan Isfahan, but was canceled. In the second attempt in 2008 should a game between the champions Persepolis Tehran and the Cup Winners Esteghlal Tehran take place, which was canceled again.
