Irina Malgina

Irina Anatoljewna Malgina (Russian Ирина Анатольевна Мальгина; born June 8, 1973 in Murmansk ) is a former Russian biathlete.

Irina Malgina began in 1991 with the biathlon. She made her debut in the World Cup on the first stop of the 2001/02 season in Hochfilzen. Already this winter, she reached for the first time a place among the Top 10 (5th place in Antholz ) and was the end of the season good 26 in the World Cup. Although they still repeatedly achieved top 10 rankings, it was their best finish for a long time.
