Irina Tarasova

Irina Ivanovna Tarasova (Russian Ирина Ивановна Тарасова, English transcription Irina Ivanovna Tarasova, . Born 15 April 1987) is a Russian shot putter.

Achievements

Tarasova was at the Youth Athletics 2003 World Championships in Sherbrooke and at the Track and Field World Junior Championships 2004 in Grosseto each fifth in the shot put. At the Track Junior World Championships in 2006 in Beijing, she won the bronze medal. In 2007, she won in the Athletics U23 European Championships in Debrecen and at the Universiade in Bangkok. At the Track U23 European Championships 2009 in Kaunas she finished second in the Indoor Athletics Championships 2011 in Paris eighth.
