Irish FA Charity Shield
The Northern Irish FA Charity Shield was a Northern Irish football competition, in the beginning of a season of Northern Irish champion and the Northern Irish Cup winners last season came together in a single game. If no winner was determined after the regular season, the title was shared. The last discharge took place on 5 August 2000.
Sponsoring
The competition was discharged only if a suitable sponsor could be found for it. In the years 1992-1994 he was the Scottish brewery McEwan 's and in 1998-2000 the razor manufacturer Wilkinson Sword.
