Iron Man (TV series)
The Invincible Iron Man (English Iron Man ) is an American animated television series, which are based on the comic adventures of Iron Man from the publisher Marvel. It was, the Fantastic Four is shown together with the series with new adventures, as part of the Marvel Action Hour in the USA.
In Germany, the series was first broadcast on 13 April 1996 on RTL.
Production and publication
Season 1
The concept of the first season included episodic good-versus -evil battles, always the Mandarin and his minions have drawn the short straw. The aim of the mandarin was to take over the world using the developed by Tony Stark weapons. It was developed by a team of super villains, consisting of Dreadknight, Blizzard, BlackLash, Grey Gargoyle, Hypnotia, Whirlwind, Living Laser, MODOK, Fin Fang Foom and Justin Hammer, supported. But Iron Man was not alone; as it stood in every episode the Force Works, consisting of Century, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye and Spider Woman, to the side.
The first season was produced by the animation studio Rainbow Animation Group.
Season 2
1995 Marvel Action Hour was produced by Koko Enterprises, which also new writers were hired.
The actions of the consequences now built on each other. Also, the Mandarin was no longer the focus of each episode, but lost right at the beginning of the season his power rings and only came back in the two-part season finale in appearance. Even Iron Man's team, Force Works was dissolved at the beginning of the season, which makes it the central hero of the series. Many episodes were based on the original comic book stories by Stan Lee.
The complete series was released on 6 DVDs Panini Video 2009. On the DVDs but I found only the German version of the series, the original audio track could not be licensed for the DVD release.
