Tony Steedman

Tony Steedman (* August 21, 1927; † 4 February 2001) was a British actor.

Life

Steedman began his career in 1964 with guest appearances on various British television series, including The Avengers and melon, Department S and Jason King. In 1972, he starred in the soap opera Coronation Street as Detective Inspector Patterson. In 1977 he had a small supporting role in the film adaptation of Alistair MacLean - Rendezvous with Death. Steedman presented twice on the role of General Alfred Jodl is, first in 1973 in an episode of the television game series ITV Saturday Night Theatre, and again in 1980 war film The bunker next to Anthony Hopkins as Adolf Hitler.

In 1978 he played 46 Follow the soap opera Crossroads represents the Dr. Butterworth, 1982, he was seen alongside Michael Palin and Maggie Smith in the film comedy The missionary. In the 1980s, he first took on roles in the United States and worked as a guest star in series like A Fall Guy and The A-Team with. In 1989, he played Socrates in the comedy Bill & Ted 's Bogus Journey through time. He was also in the John Candy comedy Fat Booty of Madness and see in sci-fi film Split Second. In 1992 he played in the three-part series Special England show the sitcom Married with Children the mayor Fivshaw.

In 1994, he said, Man the role of Justin Hammer in the first season of the animated series The Invincible Iron Man.

Steedman was married to actress Judy Parfitt.
