The Iroquois Dam on the St. Lawrence River is dammed by the Iroquois Dam ( Iroquois Control Dam ) at Iroquois, Ontario and Waddington, New York and regulates the water level of the upward Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence Lake located below.

The dam built in 1958 (a combination of gravity dam and Erd-/Steinschüttdamm ) is 23 m high and 812 m long. At the dam there are locks for navigation on the St. Lawrence Seaway, in addition also a visitor center and souvenir shops. The memory space of the reservoir is given as 30,000 million cubic meters.
