Isaac Broid Zajman

Isaac Broid Zajman ( born November 20, 1952 in Mexico City) is a Mexican architect and designer.

Biography

Broid studied at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Universidad Iberoamericana in J. Francisco Serrano Cacho and Carlos Mijares Bracho and completed his masters degree in Design at Oxford Polytechnic, now Oxford Brookes University, in England. Subsequently, he attended courses in landscape design at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México ( UNAM) and graduated at the University of Edinburgh in the field of urban design and landscape planning.

His architectural works include residential and office buildings, cultural objects and works in the field of urban planning and design.

He teaches at the Universidad Iberoamericana architectural history, there is Project Course coordinator and professor of projects at the University. He is also a member of numerous publishing architecture magazines and since 1999 part of the Sistema Nacional de Arte de Creadores ( SNCA ) on. He participated in various national and international exhibitions.

Awards

Broid has won several awards for his work, among others, the Interior Record Award of the architectural magazine arquitectural Record, 1991 with the silver medal at the Biennale in Bulgaria and one honorable mention in the Mexican Biennale of Architecture.
