Isabelle Foerder

Isabelle Foerder (* July 7, 1979 in Zwickau ) is a German track and field athlete in disabled sports. Your profession are the short-distance runs.

Sporting successes

Already in her first international race at all ( start class T/F37 ), aged 16 years, brought the left half side since birth with cerebral palsy sprinter of the Paralympic Summer Games in Atlanta in 1996 with two silver medals. Numerous other medals at international competitions followed. In 2003, she turned in at the European Championships in Assen (Netherlands ) to a European record on the 100-meter distance. It was multiple world and European champion. In the Summer Paralympics in Sydney in 2000 and at the Summer Paralympics in Athens in 2004 she won one silver medal over 100 meters. Isabelle Foerder participated in Beijing also at the Summer Paralympics 2008. Foerderer launched so far for the clubs TSV or HSC Erfurt Erfurt.
